Looked at the toolkit and not sure what value it is. What do either of the torx fit? And what is the purpose of the battery?

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The 2 torx fit the 2 main sizes used on your Spyder, largely for various bits of tupperware; while the battery is a spare to fit the tire pressure gauge. :thumbup:

The torx do not fit the Tupperware on my spider. I didn't find a single thing that they fit. The battery I guess makes sense. BRP needs to take lessons from other manufacturers on how to build a decent tool kit. I guess I will build my own.
They're probably just a standard kit for all Spyders - those torx certainly fit all the RT's I've played with so far; but they aren't the ONLY torx or security torx sizes used on them either! Same with the spanner, it is for the most commonly used sizes of nuts &/or bolts, but it's not the ONLY used sizes of nuts &/or bolts. 
Like so many other things, those tool kits appear to be generic - but it could be worse, I hear quite a few owners of newer machines saying they didn't get ANY tool kit at all! :gaah:

The value of the tool kit is $0.00. I guess it offers a sort of peace of mind aspect to an owner, but in reality these bikes are more like a automobile than a motorcycle. What can an owner actually do other than plug a tire or maybe replace a dead battery when on the road? Credit card or a stash of cash and a list of phone numbers are far more valuable than that Mickey Mouse erector set tool kit. That pretty much goes for any new ride these days be it two, three, or four wheeled.

I carry alotta tools in my spyder, never needed them, but them on alot of stranded motorists.....
They make a very small toolkit, with a ratchet, and all the torx, phillipheads, even a few sockets are in there.
I you do proper maintenance on a spyder, they are bulletproof.... there is someone on this forum, who's favorite saying is..

Not only did I not get the toolkit with the bike but it appears that the seat and footpegs I ordered from BRP when I bought the bike back in Feb. will stay MIA as well. I tried to contact the dealership as my break in service is next week and the last promised date on the seats was 4/28/2021.
So far nothing but crickets, hopefully my stuff will eventually show up. This is really starting to piss me off as I am paying finance charges on sh*t I don't even have.

That looks like the tool kit that came with my 2008 Spyder.
Doesn’t look like the F3-L tool kit that I’ve seen.

Threw the 'factory toolkit' in my takeoff parts box and created my own. Fits nicely in frunk with first aid kit, rain cover, and other assorted items
12mm open end wrenches (x2)
small crescent wrench (metric of course)
small channel lock
small ratcheting screw driver with regular, Phillips, and multiple torx bits
push pin tool
several push pins
zip ties
a few feet of paracord
a few feet of electrical wire
electrical tape and duct tape
tire gauge
tire repair kit
small 12v compressor
