The All New IPS Gripper Pegs are Awesome!!!


IPS third peg mount includes billet splined arm and stainless hardware. There are 2 option's billet chevron pegs or the IPS Grippers. The IPS third peg mount is designed to be used with IPS frame caps (NOT INCLUDED).

Is everything for the F3 so dang expensive? Are there other options?

The third peg looks out of place, it does not match the F3 in anyway. If it was black then I would consider the purchase.

It is black, it just has some shiny parts. I am not normally a fan of shiny (as my mostly blacked our harley can attest to).. but, I am not through with the bike yet. When I am done I will post another few pics. If all goes to plan I would be interested in how you think it looks. Of course the quick and easy fix is to plasti-dip the IPS stuff black (or maybe white or maybe orange) and just peel off the top of the peg.

I like how it is smaller and different from the giant stock pegs. It kind of lets you know it has a specific reason for being there.

In this case, you really are getting what you pay for. I removed grey plastic and replaced it with billet milled aluminum. Billet parts are some of the most expensive to manufacture because there is a large amount of material waste in the milling process.

Things like the LED lights make me wonder at the cost because they are usually made in china and you can get a 16 foot roll of music sensitive waterproof LED lights for twenty bucks on Amazon.

All my parts are made in the USA and I'm proud of that and the prices are still very fair when you consider the amount that are being sold. These are custom parts with low volume sales. I'm not sure where the numbers would have to be to get the prices down and still make them in the USA but for sure I won't have anything with the Lamonster name on it that's made in China.

Anything mass produced on a CNC machine in China will be crap compared to Lamonsters USA made items.
Chinese production use tolerances that allow for speed and they change their cheap tooling when it can hardly cut butter. Seen it and as an engineer I can tell you 'you get what you pay for'.
same issue here in Australia 'Ozzie made' is far superior but costs more. My employees also get a good wage and the lifestyle that goes with it.
