Spyder F3 passenger seat fitment

Hey there,
I'm inquiring to see if 2015-2018 model years F3 passenger seats will fit on a 2019 F3-S ? I see on parts listings that the 2019 FS-3 passenger seat assembly is $310, but 2015-2018 F3 passenger seats are $210. I'm pondering trying a take off seat, strip the foam and making a mount for a solo top case. Easy off/on versus the police only rack. Thanks for any input...

I tried a passenger seat from a 2019 F3 on my 2015 F3 and it fits well. In fact it seems to fit better. I did this as I was thinking of making my own rack like the one from the police model and stripping the form from my rear seat and then covering it to reduce the height of the seat for clearance.
I had not considered using it as the rack.
I will have to look into that possibility.
