• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Pretty neat--- but still want BRP to come out with an RC Spyder toy! and an actual diecast mini-Spyder collectable. They should let you order them with matching PE plaques on them!

WOW, that is cool, where did you find it?

wal mart & target, they are just hitting the shelf this week here in Vegas.
but they should start popping up were ever hot wheels are sold.
over the next several months there should be 2 to 3 more color variations coming out. that is typical for hot wheels on there first run casting.

Spyder has finally made it to the big time. ( Or should I say miniature...)

First it was the looks from the public (That still is, but you sometimes have to drive out into the countryside to get a "first time look" now days)
Second was props in a movie (TRANSFORMERS coming in June '09)
And I guess Thirdly they've die-cast Spyder for millions of collectors and young and old to place on their shelves, or in their toy box and perhaps in their dreams.

I've sought and bought a Matchbox of every vehicle I've ever owned. While the wife doesn't know, I sometimes get up early and pull out that cigar box with all my wonderful "toys" and recall our "time in the sun".

I was at K-mart today and found three of the Hot Wheels Spyders in white. Anyone interested in them send me a PM. The cost is $1.09 (what I paid) each, plus whatever the postage will be.

Went on Hot Wheels site today. As far as the site is concerned they don't make the Spyder diecast. So what you have there is figment of your imagination so it must be a very valueable item. I sent them an e-mail. I'll let know what they have to say if they answer. :dontknow:

I have just received an e-mail from Hot Wheels about the Canam Spyder Hot Wheels. It was made in 2009 & 2010 only. It is no longer made and they don't have any intentions of making it again. So if you have some or find some hold on to them. They are now a collectors item. So injoy them. :2thumbs:
