• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First post here, and you're already trying to sell me something...:lecturef_smilie:

How 'bout getting involved before you make the sales pitch:dontknow:

Come on HDX, behave. :joke: He isn't trying to sell you something, he is offering his services as a dealer to get new spyder owners. He even invited current owners to stop by and say hello. Knowing about Demo rides is a good thing. The more spyder owners we get, the more SpyderLovers we will have.

:agree:welcome:2thumbs:

I guess that came out a little harsh.... Sorry.... I would love to see more dealers involved here also, I agree with your points...It's just that 'first post sales pitch syndrome' gets under my skin, here, and other Harley forums I frequent. Reminds me of having to endure all the lame commercials before the local weather comes on, ya' know?
He might not be trying to sell me something personally, but he is trying to sell something. Which is fine, but how about introducing yourself first, get involved, offer advice, share knowledge, etc....

More Spyders is good, more Spyderlovers is better, just sayin' folks should add to the group, not just try to separate us from our $$$......:doorag:

I will give you that, you have valid points. Hopefully they will participate as a wealth of information from a dealers standpoint.

Whaaat? Everybody knows you should only towel dry puppies...

(Hey, where's RoadDog? I'm waiting for him to hijack this thread and start talking about manure spreaders or my dad's bathroom wall or the village people or something.)

Do they got a Smilie where it's piddling it's pants from laughing so hard?:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Since this thread is already hijacked........I got Road Dog a can of chewing tabacci, new product from Camel. Nice little pouch, all he has to do is stick it under his tounge and we can get down the Mass Pike without pulling over to the side of the highway while he lights up.

Gesh, what's up with this thread? I see a dealer posting for the first time --- I failed to see anyone welcome them aboard. I see someone attempting to help promote the Spyder the best way they know how - and he gets blind sided. For shame, I say. Sorry for the rant, but I just did not really like the tone of the thread.. Must be my old age. I'm out of here!

superfly welcome, so sorry you haven't been welcomed sooner, this is the first post I have seen from you but I see you have 5 listed. Also, if you aren't too far away, join us on Sunday for lunch in Hell at 2:00pm

A warm Welcome to both Krupps Power and Superfly3. I'm afraid that I have not been able to keep up here lately, so I missed my opportunity to say "Hi." Please forgive...life gets a bit out of control at times. Anyway, it's great to have folks from the Michiana area on board. Hope the demo day is a huge success!
