• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Decal

Just wondering whether anyone has applied this Spyder decal:
?

Is it really that easy to apply accurately? How about getting it off if/when you want it removed?

If you have this decal, how about a pick of your Spyder?

Thanks!

Most decals are removed with a little heat. A blow dryer works great. Warm it up and peel it off. Remove the excess glue with Goo Be Gone or something similar.

HUGH DECAL

I've seen this and ones like on a few Spyders ..... I like it , but don't have one !!! ..... Try Spyder Accessories ... or Pierre up in Canada ........ they also have 100's on e-bay ............... Mike

my fear....

I have always been concerned, but completely unfounded, about "Sun Fade" on the un-decaled surfaces where the silhouette still showed after removal. I've not heard or seen any indications of such occurrences. I would hope that the quality of the Spyder Tupperware would not allow that to be a factor. Just throwing it out there as my fear....

I have wondered that myself. I would be interested to hear from those that have removed a decal after it has been affixed for a period of time.

Hi BitSlayer,

Re: I would be interested to hear from those that have removed a decal after it has been affixed for a period of time.

Back in '14, when I bought my '08, it had a large SPYDER decal going up the left side of the frunk. I took it off with a little heat & could not/do not see where it once was. YMMV
