A recent news article about hacking into an automobile control system stated that today's cars have 50 to 70 processors in them, few designed and programmed directly by the auto manufacturer. You know unless you buy something from 1970's or before everything has computer this and that in it now..I don't think we will ever get out of owning something that is not computer ran these days.
Hell even my dryer has a computer in it now...:yikes::yikes:
In my 1986 Nissan Maxima that I used to own everything on the engine was computer controlled except valve timing. In my 2005 Maxima I have now even the valve timing is computer controlled. Computers have been an integral part of cars for over 30 years, which is almost as long as PCs have been around!
