• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Computer Question for Lamonster

Lamont,

I was up at my local dealer Saturday ordering my accessories (pretty much just went down the list and checked everything off) and they took me in the back to see one of the Spyders that was in for its first service. I noticed that they had the nose off and there was a service port connector under there which was connected in to a laptop via its USB port.

Is there anyway that I can get one of those connectors and software so that I can check/tweak my Spyder's settings/diagnostics?

Also, is there a service manual out for the Spyder yet? I would be interested that too.

Only the factory authorized dealers have access to the BUDS software and test equipment. Even these dealers do not actually own the equipment...it is loaned to them by BRP.
