• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Competition?

seems like a really small car. I like the open air feel of my ryde much better. This is an example of cheaper not always being better. Besides at 6 feet tall and 272 pounds that thing would be like putting on one of those speed skater suits for me:yikes:. And we all know, nobody wants to see that.

Elio Webpage Picture.......

I find it humorous that above the Elio vehicle, on their video page, it says "TOYS". A marketing faux paux for sure.

Check in the "Off-Topic" area; it's been in there floating around for perhaps three weeks now... ;)
For $6800; what it is, is unlikely! :roflblack:
But I DO hope that I'm wrong!

I only saw it today for the first time and thought it was interesting, and thought others might enjoy a chuckle as well, but I must agree with Bob and most other replies. Like the Toy comment

I'm interested in its technology since it's essentially a Spyder with a body. I don't see how it can be produced for $6,800 retail. If they can make it for anywhere near that then the Spyder by comparison would appear overpriced.

It's 4 times cheaper than my :spyder2::spyder2: reason because it will be produce, make, sell, here in the

USA.

I will buy one for sure. I can always remove the windshield to feel the air.The plus is I can ride whole year round:yes:esp. here in the North west. Front wheel drive is the one I've been looking for and 84 mpg. I can't

wait.
