Spyder colors and options

I am looking at spyders and found a 2014 se6 black and a ltd silver platinum how do those colors look I can not find good pictures of that color. Also is the gps on the ltd a good unit. Thanks for any help you can give on this subject.Dale

Timeless black is a nice metallic black color. The silver platinum is a flat paint, some people love it and others hate it. It is a matte type finish. Are you looking at the deals from Imotorsports in IL? Sounds like you can get a great deal there. New 2014 RTs are not easy to come by.

I have a 2014 RTL in platinum. I like it. Just took some getting use to. I like to get the wax out and you don't do that with flat paint. I have the burgundy seat that does kind of set it off. I have found that the GPS works good except for one little area of Southern Missouri whether on the Spyder or in the car. It is very easy to keep updated.

Pictures are good but not as good as looking at first hand, in the sun all the angles & details that catch your eye. With that said come on to spyderfest , see good mix of all & use condition not just show room floor condition. Custom options as well always good eye candy. i believe this is the silver your asking about, on a RTL with nice airbrush & seat custom touch. Found at last years fest & few hundred more . Honestly youll love it so much you wont notice the color except to smile & say. (wow)"Ya thats MINE"

I have a platinum 14 RTL also and love it, the matte finish doesn't show smudges or swirl marks. I just use a spray detailer that's made for the matte finish. And hose down the under belly in the as needed. The GPS is a garmin 660lm.

The GPS unit is Garmin 660... and I sure like mine! :thumbup:

Wash it with soap and water. Then wipe it dry (optional). That is it. One plus is the dust doesn't show as much. The GPS is a Garmin Zumo 660LM. The LM has free lifetime updates available through Garmin Express.
