• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I assume you know there is already a Georgia Spyder Ryder's organization.

Everything dead

been looking to join a club but everything i have found has been very inactive. Looking to join or start a very active club

The SRA has been wanting to start a chapter here in GA for sometime. I'm a member of the Birmingham group of the TVC-SRA. Also a member of the local group mention above.
Some of us get together once in a while for a ride. I did a ride and meet this past August of the GA group and some of the SRA folks to Sequoyah Caverns and lunch in LaFayette, GA.
Some of us from GA rode the Gauntlet this past year and had lunch in N GA. Fun ride that was.
There was a big group ride to the monastery last year of the GA group.

I don't think another group would hurt? The more the merrier?

Georgia

Melody and I are always ready to ride.
We just did a 220 mile loop yesterday from Ellijay up to Nantahala Gorge where we picked up Wayah Rd over to Franklin NC where we had lunch. Wayah RD is one of the best rides we have done Lots of twisties, follows a creek and skirts Lake Natahala. It climbs almost up to Wayah Bald Elevation 4300 ft. The trees were at or near peak colors. It is a great ride. From Franlin took 64 back over to Blairsville wher we took part of the "Gaunlet" route back to our home in the mountains East of Ellijay If anyone waqnts to do this trip befor it gets to cold, let me me know. I would do it again in a heart beat.

Georgia Spyder Riders

Hello Double Trouble,

I'm in the Atlanta north metro area and am looking for a way to communicate with just local Spyder riders. What I'm particularly looking for is to connect with a Spyder rider who's got a Corbin saddle and Corbin armrests (on an RT) so I can see what they're like before I buy. I had wonderful luck with Corbin on my Goldwing (I'm a recent convert to Spyder), but the saddle & armrest are a pricey package and I surely would like to see it before I buy. I'd be willing to ride to Augusta to look, but don't want to ride to Orlando just to look, then find out that it's not what I'm looking for!

Any ideas?

Regards, Patrick Hill

Patrick. Sorry can't help with Corbin. All the Georgia gang are running stock, CaNAm comfort or Ultimate seats... I don't know anyone in this area who has installed Corbin stuff.

I just got my Spyder for my birthday July 4th..

:welcome: & :congrats:!! I'm sure the folks in Ga will have good answers to your questions. I used to live in N Ga and can definitely recommend the mountains after you get used to your Spyder.
