• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder City Riser

Just installed the Spyder City riser block, put the 2" on top of my BRP 1", very easy installation, everything fit well, CNC machined aluminum. Had to put some black paint on it , finish was a little rough, a belt sander and some black anodizing would do wonders, but you can barely see it anyway. One thing i noticed right away was that my key switch and handle bar cover now impede my view of the odometer and gear indicator, which i love, my friends said i have become spoiled. Price was right, easy install, I'm happy

it did not.
i contacted them last fall and i was told by the owner of spyder city that it was a fall/winter project to come up with a solution but i don't know if it is done or not. i sold the riser since then so i did not keep up with it.
riser itself worked very well for me thou.

They come in 2 3/8 or 3" so you must have the 2 3/8 which I have but I don,t have the BRP riser and would like a little more but that can wait till I have extra$$$
I think the best choice is the Kewlmetal Adjustable but its costly for a poor retired Army Guy?:(

I ordered the 3" riser today. I am hoping to get it installed for a trip this weekend. I know that "easy to install" is relative, but I am a bit mechanically inclined, so I don't forsee a problem. Can anyone tell me the metric sizes I will need to do this. there is not much metric in my garage and I don't want to make 2-3 trips to the auto parts store to buy another size socket or wrench (although this is usually what happens). I believe I will have to open things up to get some slack in my cables. Is this correct?

I'm not real thrilled about blocking my view of the console, but my wife is even less thrilled about her inability to reach comfortably. She wins.......

Thanks for any help/advice anyone can give. I take suggestions well (been married for 17 years).

i contacted spydercity if handlebar lock remedy was ready and answer was NO. no explanation of when or what just NO. i first contacted them about this last spring so i think i gave them enough time.
i will not be buying any of their products.

installation is pretty simple except for getting two bolts that are kinda hiding out.
there isn't much room so either get low profile ratchet set or stick the allen wrench that came with spyder tool set into a socket. there was just enough room under handle bar cover for me to get those bolts out. as far as size of socket goes, i think you need 10mm and 6mm but it's been a while...
