Hi Guys,

made enquires to a UK bike lift manufacturer about producing a jack specific for a Can Am Spyder. They already have a product which with a little modification, will do the job intended.

The company hope to make the lift universal to ALL Spyder models and have asked me if my 2011 RT has the same Chassis as other years including the RTS, RS, RSS and GS?

1.Can someone please confirm if the under carriage is a "one size fits all" or do we have different frames for different models?

2. Is ground clearance the same for each model?

Thanks in advance for you input with this enquiry.

The bikes use the same basic chassis.
But the RT has longer A-arms up front, and a bit more offset built into the wheels.
This does make it almost 3" wider than the RS...
As long as the lift can handle a bike that is between 58" and 63" in width; it would work just fine...

Thanks for the feed back guys, all I need to confirm now is ground clearance to chassis. Is this the same for all models and does have up rated adjustable shocks also affect height?
