Spyder Certificates?

I have a question about the order certificates. I've read several threads about the certificate and the guaranteed delivery dates, but I didn't get one from my dealer. I'm to the point that I want to demand mine from my dealer, but I'd like to have a good idea of what I'm talking about. So if anyone can explain, or actually, if someone has a picture of one you could post, I'd appreciate it greatly. I ordered my Silver SM5 on 5 Aug 08 and am getting rather upset at the fact that many dealers already have them in stock and my dealer can't even begin to give me a clue as to when I should expect mine. I have heard that they are not doing certificates anymore.

Thanks for the info Scotty. I guess I'm just hoping for something, anything... I can't imagine how anxious some of the first owners were that had to wait much longer than I have. Maybe I should try to be a little more patient.

I ordered mine the last day of July, 6 days before you and I got a certificate, My understanding no certificates on 09 models.

I ordered mine on July 14 and they immediately printed my certificate and gave it to me and mentioned at that time that if a dealer didn't have one (and maybe your dealer did submit order but just didn't: a) print the certificate or b) give you your copy.
Mine had the terms of sale including guaranteed delivery by Oct. 15 or I could request my $1000 downpayment back.
I ordered a yellow SM5 - as of this writing I don't have it but am supposed to be called tomorrow or maybe Saturday with news that the truck is in. They did call me Tuesday with a VIN # so I could get my insurance in order so I'm assuming I'm actually getting one after waiting 12 weeks. I know that's not unduly long considering how long some have waited but I was originally told 4 to 6 weeks with actual delivery probably being 3 weeks. Spyderman62 ordered his from a dealer in my same area 5 weeks later than me and has had his :spyder:for over a week now, so I hope mine comes through, but I do have my Certificate:dontknow:.

We ordered our in Aug and Sept. of 2007 and did not get a certificate for either of them. We did get a printed out invoice with our price and proof of deposit. We received both Spyders in March of 2008.
