• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The coctail - dinner was from up at Solvang Brewery last weekend and I had to add the photo as I had seen Bob post something about bacon dipped in cheese , my moto is " Pork Fat Rules"

looks like fun

Well l haven't posted all winter so here goes. It looks like you have a great camping trailer. I might go that way in the future, depends on how much rideing l get to do. Maybe we can get together this summer as l live in southern Oregon, along l-5. Anyway let's keep in touch! Dennis

Looks like you folks know how to do it right.

I used to do a bit of wilderness camping in the MN canoe country. Need a good motel/hotel with a bed these days. :roflblack::roflblack:

I am curious how much your camper trailers weigh, and how you are keeping the tow weight below the Spyder's capacity. I would love to do this but the weights I have seen for the campers look like it would never work.

There has been a number of threads on this subject as to weight , how much is too much , safety issues etc:dontknow:. I feel one needs to weigh the information than use some common sense , many of your limits approved by any manufacture out there is set by Lawyers and the risk management team CYA . My tent trailer loaded with everything I want is about 430 pounds and I relize that I only have been towing it for only about 25,000 miles and never felt that stoping, cornering,or handeling has been a problem , but there are people out there that would be afraid to do the same :yikes:. I dont drive the same as when I'm not trailering but very close to it . And there are a number of Spyder Ryders that pull the same tent with many more miles than I have so I feel I am not the only one that thinks that it works .

If you really like motorcycle camping be sure to join the IBMC. International Brotherhood of Motorcycle Campers. www.ibmc.org
Great bunch of people family oriented and lots of camping opportunities around the country.
This the camping organization founded by Cliff Boswell back in the 70's when he was the camping editor for the old Road Rider magazine.
