• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I can neither confirm or deny the accuracy of this information that I recently received from another Spyder owner.

1. Spyders have been known to over heat. BRP's has a larger fan available that covers the whole radiator. They also recommend wrapping the pipes.

2. BRP recommends that you do NOT fill up the bike with gas after a long ride until it has had a chance to cool down. This is one theory as to the cause of fires.

3. BRP continues to aggressively investigate the cause and fix the steering issues that are still occurring.

If BRP has a larger fan then why don't they come out and say we need a larger fan? Wrap the pipes for what?:dontknow:

Insane! Do not fill the bike w/ gas after a long ride? If they really said that, they'll get hammered on it for sure :roflblack:

True about the steering I think they are looking into it. Hopefully they'll give us an answer at some point.:2thumbs:

fan controller works great here in texas where we have 100 degree weather. i'm never above 5 bars.

you can fill up - just dont top off. read the sign on the pumps they agree.

steering issues have been fixed with the recall and update.
