There's an amazing road closer to home. If you haven't ridden the Bear Tooth Pass/Highway on the Montana (Red Lodge) / Wyoming border, you should put it on your list. The road is incredibly beautiful and scary. It crosses the Absaroka Range and puts you very near an entrance to Yellowstone. It should not be missed! My vote, at least for roads I've ridden, goes to the road up Mt. Evans in CO. We did that a few weeks ago and I would not want to do it again! Scariest road I've ever been on, due to the amount of road with no guardrail and the incredibly sheer, steep and dramatically long drop offs.

Enjoyed the link. I've ridden the Beartooth pass/highway three times on a Harley and can't wait to get there with the Spyder. Planning on two weeks in that area next June. Saving money right now for it!:bowdown:smoky

Have to agree with you. We rode it last year on the way home from Glacier and Yellowston NP's. It's certainly one of the most beautiful anywhere!
