• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Blue Book value is out

Yep, that's right about what the dealer offered me a couple weeks ago when I was looking at getting away from the Spyder.

:yikes: Trade-in value is equal with the total spent for mods, Best and service
:read:

It's all good as long as it keeps the grin factor -- I don't see that going away any time soon.
I enjoy riding that machine more than any other and I've had a few over the years.

:agree: I love mine and don't foresee selling it any time soon.

The retail value is about $550 less than what I paid for mind. With over 20k miles on the bike that seems a bit high. Doesn't matter because it is not for sale.

Blue book doesn't mean a whole lot if you have no plans to sell or trade. I plan on riding mine until she can't go no more. I rode to work again today. Just a few slight flurries this morning but not enough to keep me off the roads. I am a happy spyderlover

Yep I would never sell her...I'm here for a long time.

I am still riding my 1988 Sea Doo with original engine. Blue Book value is no longer listed. It still runs like a champ. I can only hope that the Spyder gets me half that far as I ignore Blue Book value and enjoy real life value.

I bought mine pre-loved:D But at the time there isn't any blue book value available. I had to guestimate what the blue book would be to make an offer. I ended up paying slightly below the BBV.

at this point life without spyder is unthinkable :D

After reading about the deals that some people are getting on a used Spyder, I think the BBV is a little generous.

I would never pay BBV Retail estimates. I stay around the wholesale / trade-in value. To get wholesale pricing you need to have cash on hand, good timing and be lucky. I agree $14K is a bit generous but I am sure when it comes to spring time in a few months, $14K will be flying out the doors fast.
