• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Bitten in Arizona

OK, so I've been checking the Spyders out for a couple of months. I have a practically new Triumph Speedmaster in my garage but have learned that 2 wheels is not for me. I contacted several Can Am dealers in the Phoenix area but no one was interested in making a trade. I saw the posting on that SE5 in Las Vegas but I was too late. Last Friday I saw a listing in Craig's List where a dealer had a '09 SE5 with 1,487 miles for
$ 12,499. Saturday afternoon my wife and I went to check it out. The previous owner traded it in on a new RT. At the dealership, the price was listed as $ 13,999. Turns out the Spyder has the following modifications... Fog Lights, Trunk Liner, Tank Bag,Custom Leather Seat Skin and a Yoshimura Performance Exhaust. It's condition appears to be close to perfect. I showed the salesman the ad that I found on Craig's list. He said that I could have the Silver Arachnid for $ 12,499. This Spyder has a new home in Chandler, AZ. I pick it up Tuesday after work. I just had to share my excitement with some fellow Spyder folks. Hopefully, I'll found a new home for my Triumph soon but this deal seemed too good to pass up.

welcome
My wife and I each got one in December. I have 3500 miles on mine and use it for everything. We got rid of our truck and are now a 2 spyder 1 car family. You will absolutely love it. We did some mods on ours to set them up more for touring. We use raised handle bars, forward pegs and corbin seats. We're still excited:yes:

That sounds like a great deal to me.

welcome

While I live in New Mexico ( "back-East" to you folks ), I bought my Spyder at the dealership in Lake Havasau, AZ. Maybe our Spyders are related?

I have found this part of the country to be fantastic Spyder territory.

Enjoy!

Tom
