• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder article

Whats a GT ???????? 990cc ?????????? Obviously this guy needs more training. :banghead:

THE ARTICLE

I agree with Randy that journalist needs to polish his skills before he collects anymore paychecks....In journalism getting the facts correct is a must.. and I really beg to differ on the windshield thing....I have zero problems with mine and I bet I have the largest windshield on any Spyder in existance, height, width, and total square inches. I think anyone who has seen it would agree with that statement........Mike..

I can relate to much of what is being said. The Spyder has it positives and some negatives over the 2 wheeler. But I'm enjoying the Spyder.
Can't relate to the high speed issue on the RT. About 75 - 80 MPH is as fast as I care to drive mine. A fair amount of turbulence is an issue at highway speeds.

Not a bad article although the author does not seem to be well versed on his subject. The only thing I would really quibble about is the implication that the RT's fairing is inferior to BMW, Honda, H-D, and Kawasaki. I know that my RT's fairing is much superior to my R1100RT BMW and according to my Gold Wing riding friends the RT is also better than the Gold Wing especially rear seat passengers. And I doubt that there are many folks who consistently ride their RT's over 90 MPH.

The writer was referring to 90 kilometers per hour I believe.
