• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

there is ralph's market with big parking along with starbucks and food.
ryde will be on even with just 1 ryder. i do admit i was very disappointed when 2 ryders canceled last week leaving me with just 1 ryder but from now on rydes will be always on no matter what. i go for ryde to nowhere all the time by myself, why not with just another ryder if no other ryders are available that weekend. we have to start somewhere.
also, dealers will not be used as starting points. i did not realize when we use a dealer as starting point, i can not ask other dealers to promote the rydes.
please reply if you are interested. i will also keep trying to get ryders off of spyderryders.com.

people in los angeles have more hectic life than other parts of country i think. people have other commitments, business trips, etc.
one ryder emailed me at 1:30 pm last saturday asking where we were so he can join in:D. as long as there is ryder or ryders interested, here or other ryders i will keep at it:doorag:

Keep working at it. I believe you have the right idea. Go with whoever shows up. It will catch on, give it time. It's a shame about the dealer situation. Dealers should not have any problem you using their parking lot for a starting point. If you alternate, each of them gets a chance for other riders to see their operation. It's a win-win situation. Dealers don't work together, then wonder why they can't attract new business. Brainless!

You will be going right by my area, dover and PCH in Newport.
I like that ride, but there is better riding along the way that I can show you thru the avacodao fields. Lots of twisties and seclusion.

I went to dealer today to get new fan relay and service writer is telling me there were three spyders showed up for the ryde last Saturday:mad:
I did not get any other replies other than those who canceled so I have no idea if those ryders are from here or people I emailed.:dontknow:

We had a couple of people "just show up" for our Niagara Falls trip too. For some reason, not everyone states their intentions of joining these things. Maybe to stop from feeling obligated to show if something else comes up. :dontknow:
 
one of the ryder from last saturday called me on the way back from dealer.
three of them went on a ryde so i feel little better but i feel so bad.
he is in for future rydes so not a total loss i guess.
 
one of the ryder i contacted works at a local casino and they are giving away couple of spyders next month and he would like me to bring the ryders to the casino for a meal on them. i don't have much detail yet but if its on the weekend, we will start and end the ryde at the casino and grab some dinner before we ryde apart.
he is schedule to work until 400 am on saturdays but he is gonna try to get off early to come to this ryde also.

I would use a plate. I don't see having a meal on the Spyder as being a good idea. If you do who's going to clean the Spyders after the meal? :joke::roflblack:
