• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder 10th Anniversary Homecoming Refund

After the announcement today about the RS, RSS being dropped I have no interest in attending the Spyder home Coming event anymore. Does anyone know if its possible to get a refund?

I think there is a mechanism to get a refund as I recall it was a time limited offer so you should probably jump on it.

It is too bad that you feel that way, it is the way of most industries to drop slower selling models over time.
I don't think it was done as a slam against those who purchased/enjoyed/still like/ the model.

Thanks Spyder Codes. I'll check it. :)

BRP has left me no where to go. The riding position of the F3 just doesn't work for me. It destroys my back and butt (just like my Harley did) I have a 2012 RS. Warranty expires end of next year. I like to keep my "stuff" relatively new and under warranty. There will be nothing for me to purchase in the Spyder line up once the warranty expires on the 2012. My only option is to purchase a 2016 RSS but that only buys me a few more years. It doesn't solve my issue (just stretches it out a bit longer) so its probably not worth traveling down that road any longer. No need to keep investing money into BRP if they aren't going to make products I want.

You can up to one month before the event.

You may want to cancel right away so the exchange rate may be the same.

Before you get too bent out of shape understand this was phase 1 of the 2017 lineup, phase 2 will be at the dealer meeting Aug. 16th. More product news and updates to come.

Fear not.....

probably more to come...:spyder: but keeping your ryde new is not that hard. I have a 2012 and the warranty ran out years ago and she looks new and runs better than new. She will probably outlast my ryding days so I have no fears or regrets. this is the part where we ryde off into the sunset..:clap:

There is always change, one must use this change to THEIR advantage, as my Dad used to say before he pasted on.

Rob, I hope you get this reply. I have a lot of back problems and could not ride for 25 years. I can ride a 2015 RTS for 4, 41/2 hours so far with no problems, which I BOUGHT last Nov. Mite not be prefered ride but still have ( knees in the breeze ) and thats where the love is! Niterider

on an f3 model with the floor boards instead of pegs, can they be adjusted so your feet are under you instead of layed back?

I can relate to that. I feel exactly the same way about my 2013 RTL 998.

...and looking at that picture, the Jag DOES still look brand new.
