• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Spyder 1 Attitude

Has anyone ordered the ceramic coated bypass pipe from Spyder 1 Attitude? It looks like a nice bypass pipe! Would just like to get anyones opinion on the ordering and quality of this pipe. Thanks.

Yes, I ordered one and installed it. Then did it again on another bike.

This was back before Pitbull and Lamonster made high quality bypass pipes available.

The quality on each was pretty bad. They did not fit without a LOT of persuasion and modification. The materials being carbon steel rust quickly.

The vendor would not stand behind the poor quality product.

Avoid this vendor and purchase a quality stainless steel bypass pipe that fits from Lamonster Garage. I have installed a number of them and they FIT and are works of art.

I ppurchased a cat delete pipe from Pitbull Power Sports in Springfield. Lost 25 pounds, lost a heat radiator meaning I lost a lot of heat under the bike which results in no heat in city traffic, ok no noticeable heat, and makes the crappy Can Am muffler sound a bit better. I don't have any numbers but I 'feel like' I get better performance out of the engine and a bit better mileage. My personal view is every single Spyder on the road SHOULD have the cat delete pipe. Sorry Californians. If you don't have one, you join the 'Gross Polluter' crowd. Been there, done that with a truck I once bought. But otherwise, GET the cat delete pipe from Pitbull or Lamonster. Worth every darned cent.

I checked out Pittbull and Lamonster website. I did not see a bypass pipe on Lamonster's at all. Unless I missed it. Pittbull has it but no ceramic coated ones. Is this a special request to order the coated pipe?

Pitbull's (Lamonster sells the same pipe) is all high quality stainless steel. There is no need for a coating, it will not rust.

The ceramic coating is for heat reduction! I would like the ceramic coating to reduce the heat. I do not want to wrap the bypass pipe. Does anyone make a ceramic coated bypass pipe, or do I need to have this done independently?

Getting rid of the cat will significantly reduce the heat. Have not seen anyone have the Pittbull pipe ceramic coated but no reason you could not send one to jethot and get it done. Personally think its a waste of money but its yours.

I ordered the one from Pitbull and it is extremely high quality. It is rugged and fits right in like it was always supposed to be there. I wrapped mine, only because my main objective in installing it was to eliminate more heat on my 2013 RT. I had already wrapped the headers all the way down to the CAT, so I just finished the job. For me, that was a no-brainer.

I would not have purchased any other bypass pipe but the Pitbull one. Even my dealer commented on the high quality of this pipe.

As a side note, I will say that the combination of removing the CAT, and wrapping the headers and bypass pipe, plus a bit of reflective heat shielding around the fuel tank itself, did indeed stop all of my boiling fuel/overflowing canister problem on my 2013 RT long before the major recall of last summer - not to mention the other advantages the bypass pipe offers.
