• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

EveryoneWondering where you get the heavier duty springs for your rear suspensions? Our 2013 RTL is going in the shop in the next couple of weeks to wotk on the acs. and whie they have it apart was thiking on having them replace the shcock and put that beefier spring many of you have talked about. I have earched heavy duty springs for syder RTL to no avail. Thanks guysDave

Hi Dave,

Another and less expensive possibility is Roadster Renovation spring stiffeners. I have them, easy install and does tighten up the front end. Certainly not too stiff but more than OEM. In conjunction with an upgraded anti-sway bar and a proper alignment by Squared Away ----- I'm very pleased with the way my RTS handles.

Look on eshocks.com, they have a lot of different size and weight springs. The rear spring is 2.25" ID but the longest they have is 10". So you will have to make a spacer or get an adjustable sleeve to set the preload correctly. For 2up the recommended spring is 900lb to 1100lb, just depending how much the weight load is. This should eliminate the need for the airbag completely.

Maybe we should ask; what are you trying to accomplish by replacing the air suspension system with a conventional spring / shock combination?
