• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We are having a poker run in Swartz Creek at the AmVet/VFW post on April 23, 2011. This is the Brandon J Webb memorial run to benefit Camp Hope.

Camp Hope was established in 2007 and is a rehab facility for disabled veterans. Brandon, my wife's son was KIA 6/20/2006 along with Camp Hope's president and founder's son Chris White. Both were Marines on patrol in Iraq when an IED exploded under their vehicle.

If you've got a flyer on this, I'll post it around the Jackson area and let the Legion Riders, Mil Vets and other groups aware of this. Larry

Bill, I think I am going to try and make this event. I have never done a poker run before but AMVETS is one of the things I donate to on a fairly regular basis that is outside my church. I also understand the pain of the death of a child having my daughter go home to the Lord in Feb. 2007. She was 17. And the simple fact that these young men were serving our country when they laid down their lives. Oh yeah, one last thing, it is about time we finally met, seeing as we live so close to each other...:2thumbs:

Sounds good to me Deb, I know we have tried to meet up before but our schedules never meshed, see ya in a few weeks. It's mapped out to a 90 mile ride and should be fun. Pray for no rain PLEASE. Bill
