• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spring is coming!

Dee,
That storm has got to power through us first... before it gets to you guys!
They were shutting down some pretty major stuff around Roanoke, VA this afternoon, as it landed upon them! :yikes:

Bob, mike has the snow blower ready just in case. Does Roanoke, Va have the snow equipment to handle the storm? How much snow do you think you will get?

:dontknow:
My knees, hips, wrists and shoulders; they all say that it's going to be a VERY interesting day tomorrow...
My guess: eleven inches...
Could be eight
Could be fourteen...

I can tell. We hit a whopping 32F for the first time in a long time today. :banghead:;)
I usually don't ask anybody from Saskatchewan to send us any of their weather....but we'll take some of that if you send it our way. We haven't seen the freezing mark in nearly a month, or average temperatures in more than that. We did have two days in a row without snow for the first time over three weeks, so I guess we may be gaining on it.

Bob: my sinuses were hurting also, due to the Snow Storm that started today ( Thursday) P.S. Sorry about the lines below. They say we will be getting about 8-16 inches of snow. Also we should keep chanting "Spring Will Be here Soon". I saw the extended forecast for Vermont for next week, it will in the upper 30's to 40's. :clap:Deanna777

A taste of Spring is Coming

The local weather guessers have been predicting a warm-up next week (Feb. 16th to 22nd) with temps rising from the upper 30s Monday to the Mid 50s by Friday. The downside to all of this will be a high probability of flooding next weekend.
