• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sport rack brackets

Does anyone have pics of the sport rack brackets that slide over the extrusion? My local dealer said the part numbers arent coming up in eir system, and i need to order them, bought a used sport rack but it didnt have them.

Huh? There are 4 "main" parts to the sport rack. There is the inside aluminum bracket. Its about 4" x8" chunk of 1" aluminum give or take. That's what slides into the frame and the rack itself is bolted to. Then there is the painted rack itself, the painted lower cover and the painted lid. As well as odds and ends hardware.

The two brackets with the nuts on them that slide into the extrusion and brace against it. These have a BRP part number, but are not available seperate, fml. Trying to avoid paying the 400 that can am wants.

Ah! I see them now. Would it be possible to just use nuts/washers?

Once i get the parts in the mail, i can than look at what thickness it needs to be, i am justgoing to use flat steel to spread the load, and nuts on the bolts, instead of welded To the plate. I found a better pic and all they are are flat pieces of steel.

I am interested in the sports rack. Can you tell me does it replace the tail or somehow mount over the tail?
