• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spiders for Spyders...

WOW! Wife and I went into a Halloween outlet store in Lafayette this afternoon. Was curious what they might have in the way of spider goodies, for our yellow SE5.

Holy smokers...unbelievable...came home with a plastic spider suitable for the "web" on my radiator grille. Also found a giant (2.5 ft. tall x 42-inch long body) black spider. Should be good for car/bike shows, next year. Haven't
decided whether to have Spidey straddling the seat, or poised atop it, with legs holding him in place.:spyder:

I hope so. Of course...there's a fine line between what you can decor a Spyder for, between riding it, and show display. This is still a new area for me...so I'm proceeding carefully.:ani29:

More Spider Info...

Okay...for those interested...I went out to the garage, and brought in the spider's box. So, I'll quote here what it says:

Nightmare Deluxe Decor, Monstrous Spider
Seasonal Visions International, Inc.
Oakland, CA 94607

Four glowing red eyes
6-foot legspan
Can be hung on the wall, or set on ground

The distributor for this area:

G and G, Inc.
Livonia, MI 48150
Purchase Order # P09-10029
Item No. 5124101
Desc. Spider 6 Foot Span

And that, I'm afraid, is all it says on the box. Hope it helps...

My spouse asked if it would fit in the Spyder's trunk, when we went to various car/motorcycle shows. Um-m-m-m...I don't think so. I keep wondering what the fuzz, and cage passengers will think: me racing along the highway with this giant spider clinging to my back...:spyder2:

Our local Walgreens has them - black or grey.
Wife got me a black one last halloween, and also picked up a bag of 50 spider rings for $1 the day after halloween - I give them to kids who ask if they can sit on my Spyder and have Mom/Dad take their picture.
I zip-tied 3 of the 6" hard plastic ones to the vents on my Spyder.

H-m-m-m...now there's an idea...:f_spider:
