• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I,m in the Aurora,In area going back to 3wheels due to the age thing, never been on a Spyder, had Goldwing trikes, anyone know where I might be able to rent one for a hour are so? Thanks

Renting that's iffy, hard to find a rental...... Talk to your nearest dealer and see if they are willing ( you probably have an Mtc. license so that's a plus ) ..... When I had to give up riding my last Wing I tried all the other Trikes ... Neither H.D. not Goldwing was impressive .... they all drive similar but the Spyder was hands down the best .... in fact now even if I could go back to three wheels , I wouldn't .... The Spyder are that good ....I've said this numerous times to other Newbie's ....Drive it like a Car and you'll leran fast ..... Good luck .... Mike

Thanks Mike good info.

I rode a Goldwing Trike for 4 years 40,000+ miles and before that 26 years on Yamaha Venture Royale/Royal Star. I have put 50,000+ miles on my Spyder RTL. It wins hands down. More comfort, better handling. Only drawback to owning a Spyder is the dealer network is not as good as Yamaha or Honda. You have to work a little harder to get a good dealer and you will probably be doing more of your own work, but you may be there anyway. I would not go back to a standard trike, I love my Spyder. There must be a dealer who, with enough serious interest on your part, would give you an extended test ride to make a sale.
