• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

For all who spell spyder please use the right spelling

It's the y factor that made it what it is. Spider is a :ani29:

Sometimes autocorrect messes with our spyders, must be all that computerisation

ok so why do people put spIders on their spYders?? :joke:

ps have you noticed that brp autocorrects as either BRO or BURP? What's with that? Lol

Spyder vs Spider

A lot of folks have made a lot of money by associating that 8 legged bug with a Can-Am Spyder, and more power to them I guess.

But I never caught on to that correlation, so you'll never see a spider on my Spyder.

Glad you guys straightened that out for me. I thought all this time those fun loving "Canuck's" up

North didn't know how to spell Spider.

Now why is a Fiat & Alfa a Spider but a Porsche and Lambo Spyder? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spyder

Calling the Can Am a Spyder is fine, since it is their official name. What gets me is the intentional misspelling of ryde and other words. Ok so it's cutesy and all, how cute. Whatev. Different strokes.

Another first world debate. If you own a SpYder, ride (or rYde) your SpYder. But for Lord sake, spell it however you want.
