• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I had a quick question do you get tired of people looking at your speedometer and asking you do your Spyder go 200 mph? I wonder why did the folks at BRP have a speedometer that goes that far when the spyder only go up to 130+ mph?:dontknow: 1st post

The switchable (metric vs US) speedometer will top out in metric mode... 126 mph = approximately 200 kph. On the same scale.

However, when people ask, I just say nonchalantly, "Well, yes, why else would it be there?". :D

Yes, the Spyder speedo is an odd duck...a digitally driven, analog speedometer. When you change units, it does, too. No more red markings for the other scale. My reply is always "Don't know, haven't tried it yet." That keeps em guessing. Or, you could just smile...
