• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SPECIAL THANK to lamont

Yeah!

Loved the video! Loved meeting you and Dee and everyone else. I, too, am sad that I forgot to ask for an autograph. Ah well, next time...
I was relieved that we didn't arrive to find everyone frozen. It was so cold and snowy coming over the mountains. I share in your hearty thanks to Lamont for providing this opportunity for us to meet. Evan and I both had fun yesterday. We are looking forward to the next time we can meet more spyderlovers. I asked him on the way home, "How long do you think it would take us to get to Buffalo?" :D

:agree:Lamont does come up with some great ideas. eh?

I hope all the rest of the Spyderlovers get a chance to have as much fun as I had the last two weekends in Saratoga Springs and then Brattleboro.

It was nice meeting you and Evan. I may take a ride up to Latham soon for some of those thottlemiester grips, and some lighting.

I guess that answers my question about what Evan was driving. What do you think about your Smart car, Evan?

It's really fun! The Brabus edition one we have now is like driving a slot car on the road.

It's a blast and really has quite a bit of room inside too.

Cool!

I was trying to convince Ev to wrap the Smart Car with some kind of festive advertising or polka-dots or some such, but I never considered my face as part of the motif. I admire the talents of all you Photoshoppers!

SpyderByter

Swing by up here if you go, or we can meet--Latham is not far from us. That'd be a great destination ride to NMN!

You read my mind. I need to give Evan a call next week to see when those new throttle locks he was talking about will be in. I am also considering HID's for head and fog lights, and possibly some neon just for the heck of it. But the throttle lock and HIDs are first on the list before some long rides this Summer.

So anyway, I have to get an idea of when to go and how long it will take to get them installed. I figure we can find a place with in walking distance of his shop and have lunch. I have next week off. It would be great if it could be done on a Sat. and HDX, Smylin and Road Dog could join. Shoot, there goes my herd mentality again.....
