• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Special Series RT

I saw the matte and shiny black Special Series RT at Velocity Power Sports yesterday and I really like it. However...that bright orange/red bottom front is too distracting and annoying for me!:yikes: True, it does have the phrase Special Series in the orange/red on the side, but it's small compared to the front. My personal opinion only and, as usual, YMMV!!!

I'd prefer it to have THIS look...

I'm with you, at first I didn't notice the orange and when I did my thought was why? I don't get it, other than they are trying to do the multi color thing like they have on the frames of the other models. That probably isn't an easy piece to change out either.

special Special

Was doing some driving thinking (better than talking on the phone) and was wondering if anyone experimented doing some panel swapping off another RT to make their own "Special Series"? It might be a lot of work but the price would be right.

There are several Spyders out there that swapped some panels with another Spyder, Some actually look good.
