AWOOD / Bryce - I currently have 6 months left on my factory warranty and have 2 years of additional BEST coverage beyond that. I would like to consided extending that BEST coverage. Would I be able to purchase just the 3rd year of BEST (an additional year) from you? If so, what would the cost be?

Could I extend beyond the 3 years of BEST by, for instance, buying your 3 year offer and, when added to my current 2 years of BEST, extend my BEST coverage to 5 years? I doubt this one, but got to ask, anyway.

As far as I know you can continue to extend as long as you currently have coverage. Once your coverage expires BEST will not let you extend. So, as far as buying another year to tack onto your 2 years already that is fine. Also, if you are looking to buy an additional 3 years of coverage to your 2, I dont believe that is possible right now because they only want you to have 3 years of BEST at a time, and then extend. Ok. I just got off the phone with our Can-am rep to make sure I clarify things right with the BEST warranty. You get 2 years of Manufacturer warranty and can buy up to 3 years of additional coverage thru BEST or BEST plus. So in total you will have 5 years of coverage for your Spyder. Once your 5 years is up BEST will no longer let you extend because they have a CAP at 5 years of coverage. Should you want to extend pass that you can always purchase an aftermarket warranty which extends 6 years instead of 5 (however, it's not a warranty thru BRP). My dealer wanted $1000. Last fall he said it was $900. I know that both were still over priced.

I opted for the 3yr at $749. Saving $251 right off the bat.

Price List from BRP on BEST Warranty

Got my new price list from BRP today for the BEST warranty, and whatda ya know....the prices did NOT go up! :2excited:
Just for everyone here on Spyder Lovers.com I will extend the warranty prices until April 30, 2010. We had a great turn out for the month of March, and I want to make sure that everyone gets an opportunity to save some money and keep their Spyder's covered should anything happen.

I too have purchased the BEST plus from Bryce> I had been debating on whether to get it from the dealer for $1500 for 3 years. I went back to ensure the $1500 was BEST plus. Nope, that was for BEST. When I started to negotiate, I was met with a blank stare. Jeez, no room to negotiate? I'm all in favor of buying locally, but not at the expense of my 401k!

I will need to check to see how much the cost is for the extended year. I will need you to e-mail me or call me with your VIN# to check the cost in BossWeb (BRP's manufacturer website). Once I check I can get you the cost. I want to say its closer to the $579 to be quite honest. However, I will check for you when I get your VIN#. Thank you for your inquiry!
