My warranty expired on 02/08/2010 for my 2008 SM5 GS.

Yes...add the BEST after your two years ends...you do get roadside help immediately though...something your 2 year doesn't give you...

Warranty Information:

Just to add what everyone is saying...Your BEST warranty would cover your Spyder after the factory warranty ends. You would need to make sure that you get a BEST warranty before the expiration date of your factory warranty ends. If your factory warranty ended already and/or your BEST warranty already ended e-mail me direct and we work with an aftermarket company who I might be able to work with to get your Spyder covered.

The dealership I'm having service my vehicle offers a service plan but it's their dealership that has to do the service. it's not honored by any other dealerships. I'd like something that applies to all dealerships>

When you purchase the BEST warranty it is valid at any BRP/Can-am franchised dealers (that have a service department). They all should know how to sumbit claims and get re-imbursed for warranty work. You can go onto www.brp.com and check out any franchised service dealers in your area. Thanks! :yes:

That's good to know! Is the BEST warranty an all inclusive service plan or just an add on warranty? I was under the impression it was a full service plan not just warranty issues.

Just an extended warrenty..that is it, nothing more, nothing less. The Plus adds roadside assitance is all. There are dealers that do provide service contracts as well but I think this is per dealer and not done through BRP but I would not know for certain.

I'm not sure that is correct. BEST is a pure warranty extension with roadside service from day one.

BEST Plus, I think, includes the above plus one scheduled service a year.

ataDUDE is correct. You can buy the BEST warranty which includes the warranty coverage as well as it offers roadside assistance only for Spyder Roadsters from the time your manufacutrer warranty starts till the end date of your BEST warranty.
You can buy the BEST plus which covers your 10 hours service as well as some other maintainence requirements. When you buy the BEST plus you get everything that the BEST offers as well as some maintainence.

I got 3 years of warranty when I purchased my 2008 SE5 in NOV 2008, they had some deal of an extra year. So if I get a BEST I gather I get an additional 3 years?

Now if you purchase 3 years of coverage you would actually get 5 because your Spyder comes with a 2 year manufacturer warranty, and your extended BEST contract does not start until your manufacutrer warranty ends. Does that make sense? Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!! :f_spider:
