• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Speakers on a Ryker?

Well the video was not the best …. Either they weren't talking or I couldn't hear it ??? ….. When they played it the speakers sounded OK …. I didn't se anything about the speakers being JBL ( which imho are excellent ) ….. Mike:ohyea:

Poor video, not sure where they put everything. BUT, the link to the unit is good: no mention of JBL (not for the $144.70 price!) IF you want your neighbors to hear your radio, this is probably a good thing (1000 Watts peak????) I think I'll stick with Sena too.

The JBL's were on the SlingMod site. I did not add a link but it looks like they are using the new JBL Cruise speakers.

Recently installed JBL Speaker kit on Ryker 900 - speakers are ok..... once you hit the highway and go above 60+mph its hard to hear even if the volume is turned all the way up..

I purchased the Scala Rider Q solo and UClear Digital Pulse Wired Drop-in High Definition Helmet Speakers from Amazon and could not be happier with the quality and sound.

I listen to Metal and Hard rock music and I like the fact that when I am at a stop sign or red light, no one around me can hear what
I'm listening to and it still sounds really good going at highway speeds. You just need to adapt to the volume increase as you speed up but
other than that I feel it's a great combination and is perfect for your own listening enjoyment (if your a lone rider and don't need to communicate to others.) Connects Bluetooth to your phone.

I bought the new Cardo Packtalk JBLs. They are pretty nice, but you're fighting noise with noise when using speakers in a helmet. I still prefer a good set of IEMs over the JBL speakers because they block out most of the wind noise. Plus, I don't have to turn up the volume as loud.
