• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cannot hear the music with stock speakers.

Is their any way to just change out the speakers without adding all the other stuff and get a better sound at 60-70 mph.

Thank You,

Justacruisin

The front speakers on a ST are the same speakers used on the rear of a RT. Yes they suck. I replaced mine with Pioneer speakers that worked great for a while and now suck too. The biggest problem in finding a speaker that will fit is the depth. Most replacement speakers are too deep and will have to be shimmed out.

what size pioneer did you use? In your opinion why do you think the speakers sounded good but later horrible?

Speakers

I do not use the radio while I am riding, it is my time, but could you add bluetooth speakers and run the sound into the helmet?

Good Luck

A large windshield made the sound better for me. The wind had a big effect on the sound.

Sounds like they are not waterproof that will destroy a speaker in no time flat. Auto speakers are NOT waterproof, they are treated with a minor coating to make them somewhat water resistant but rain and dew will destroy them. Need to make sure there rated as waterproof or marine accepted. Any others will not last.
I installed sound systems in autos years ago and would run into this many times. So if there not marked as Marine approved or waterproof there NOT.
