• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Speak to me oh Wise Ones...

I appreciated the Valk for what it was; smooth, powerful, and as you can see, attention getting. (This was after removing the paint-matched seat covers and the poorly painted Beetle Bags)

Lamonster: It didn't look quite like that when I got it. I'd have left it alone for the most part. The PO I got it from had replaced the bags with some poorly rattle-canned Corbin Beetle Bags and used decals in an attempt to match the paint. Corbin side covers with the same treatment and the stuff around the tank and windshield removed, but no cleaning of the rsidue. The beetle bags didn't impress me as they were awkward to use and rather small, so I swapped them for a set of OEM bags. I thought it looked better without the seat covers as well.

Thanks for the look at the original, tho. I like that better than when I got it.

Stpped by Powersports this morning, they have an RT-S, but my wife doesn't like the seat. They have a used 08 in Green, a copper colored, a black Phantom and a yellow SE. The SE has the riser, bags, different seat and touring windshield. The seating position feels pretty good on that one, but I don't want the auto. They don't have a manual in Yellow.

I never thought I would want the electronic transmission either, but now that I have it I wouldn't trade it for anything. You can upshift and downshift when you need to just by popping the paddle. When the engine drops below 2500 rpms it will automatically downshift for you as well. No need to downshift when approaching a traffic light, just hit the brakes and ride it out. :2thumbs:

Did they offer you a test ride on any of them?
