• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spare Fuses at Advanced Auto for RT

Lift the seat. On the right side just to the rear corner of the gas tank there is a black rectangular cover (about 1/2 inch wide by 4 inches long). This is the fuse box. Label is toward the rear that tells you the amperage for each location.

THANK YOU!!:2thumbs:

stopped at Advanced Auto. they had the small low profile square fuses that are used in the Spyder $4.90 PER FUSE  ... still cheaper then dealer which is double that for the 60A fuse and maybe 50% more for the other sizes. I did NOT see any spare fuses in the fuse block under the seat. so prob a good idea to care a set of spare fuses. I am only missing the 25A fuse which they did not carry. but the spyder RT has like 7 different fuse sizes :gaah:

so cost $20 after a coupon I had for 10% off at Advanced. sorry its not an online coupon... and still short the 25 A fuse. figure if I blow the 25A fuse I will pop in the 30A spare to get me home.

I still have to 100% confirm that it fits but looks like the ones... they did not have an assorted package of these fuses... not sure if Pep Boys or Autozone has them ...

the 25 amp fuse still on back order :dontknow:

hope to get this week... so if you want a spare fuse for UNDER your seat in 25 amp better order one from your dealer so he can get it in... I could not find it at Pepboys or Advanced Auto. this is the square fuses not the mini fuses in the FRUNK.

before Cuba, I pulled out one of the square fuses they are the LONG style square fuses. found all but the 25 amp one at Advanced Auto store. put them in my tool kit bundle that I carry (in addition to the standard tool kit).

they are the same price as the short square fuses. just nice to know I have a fuse for under the seat (not the fuses in the FRUNK). those are standard flat mini fuses.

Cant get the 25 amp fuse. BRP keeps sending the flat fuses when my dealer orders the fuse. Cant find the required part number for the fuse... they called the tech line but 2 x they sent the flat min fuse.
