• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wife and I off to viit my little Sister in Indian Land South Carolina. Our first long Spyder trip.
Going to be cold, but the heated grips will save us. Also we can split the driving as she is
just as good on the RT as I am. We will take the quick 700 mile hwy 95 to 26 to 77 route to get there, but
plan a two day 1100 mile trip home through North Carolina, Tennesse and Geargia for some mountain rd time.

Sounds Like Fun

This trip, especially the route home, sounds like a lot of fun. Your right that the heated grips will help, but be sure to take insulated clothes to layer. At 70 mph the grips don't do much good for the freezing rest of your body. But most important, ryde safe and enjoy your trip.

Hey Jim:

Cindy & I are going to Maggie Valley for the owner's event. I have a sister that lives in Beufort, South Carolina. I think what we just might do is ride up to her place the first day, spend the night and then head up I-95 as far north as we can go in a day's time. (hopefully some place in Northern Virginia and close to the Blue Ridge Parkway).

We'd then spend the night up there, and head on the Blue Ridge for Maggie Valley. I have no idea how long it takes to get down there, but I've always wanted to ride the parkway.

Hope you have a great time.

Chris
