Sound made when putting RT into Reverse

Just wondering if all RT's make a noise when going into Reverse. Mine does and always has.............is that right??

If it is a clunk, I would say yes.

Mine has made a "clunk" going into reverse, since new. I have 23000 on it and no problems so far.
I just hope I didn't jinx myself with that statement!

The clunk is normal for Spyders. Square cut gears in the tranny.

It's the same clunk in first and reverse and sometimes a clunk and a fart but usually only after a meal........oh you were talking about the bikepps: Uh um yeah clunk in reverse totally normal

I used to snowmobile with the local Yamaha dealer. (I rode Polaris though) I asked him if anybody minded me being there. His answer: " I just tell them that you're ignorant and don't know any better!" :shocked: :roflblack:
