• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sorry for the snowbirds!

Here's my Voyager

Very nice. I had the last year they made the Voyager in that configuration. Also had a Vulcan 2000 LTD and a Vulcan 900 LTD. Great bikes all.

Saturday morning, about 6:15am. As this moon settles west into the everglades, the new sun rises out of the Atlantic.

Expected temps in the mid 70's and a 4 hour ride today with a lunch stop about 100 miles away.

I assume you got her the tractor to go with it. Real men give real birthday presents; like mine! :D

Applause.gif That is VERY impressive! But it would also define "Overkill" for generations to come! :D
She's got a new Three-Stage, 30" Troy-Bilt coming this way! (Complete with an enclosure to protect her from the blowing snow...)

Her old 24" Two-Stage modle (5024), was getting a bit long in the tooth, and didn't have the power to throw snow as far as she wanted...

Send the warm weather up to the North East! Deanna

I have to fess up; that tractor is similar to our biggest JD, but my snowblower goes on our smaller JD tractor, along with a removable cab. I started out with a large walk-behind Ariens years ago. Also bought a cute enclosure for it, probably like your Mrs has. I keep the perimeter of our hayfield mowed like a lawn and snowblown so I can do my 3-4 mile walk every morning after barn chores. However, old age eventually shortened my temper for wrestling it the 3/4 mile around the field (and tenth mile driveway), so after sufficient, skillful, psychological conditioning, I got hubby to escort me to our favorite JD dealer and purchase a blower and cab. :D

I think that she watched too many "Home Improvement" episodes...
She's completely into the whole "More Power" way of doing things! :D

I am in a bit of a dilemma now. Dealer has a 2011 Kawi Voyager (1700 cc) with only 4,000 miles on the clock. We are talking about the dealer writing me a check for about $2,500 in trade of my 2011 :ani29: RT A & C. It has 23,000 miles on the clock. Trunk light, comfort seat, running lights, and seal floorboards are the only options on the :spyder2:. The Kawi looks so new, it is scary.

Should I go for that dangerous test drive?

Snowbirds

My Spyder is in the shop but we had a customer's bike at home and it needed a test ride, someone had to do it. It was warm enough in the garage that I seriously thought about turning the fan on. I sucked it up and worked without it.

Mine needs to go in for oil change and service, however will sit in the garage on maintainer for awhile. Spent New years in the hosp with severe chest pains, turns out my hiatal hernia that was operated on twice many years ago has again reared its ugly head. Home now from one surgery and will be going to seattle in the near future for consult and probable surgery with a thoracic surgeon. Will know more in a few weeks and hopefully done laposcopically otherwise my riding season is shot. I purposely did not sign up for any 2017 Rally's and events, but look out 2018! We still have snow in the yard so still not itching too bad but that will come soon. Ya'll have fun and will be out on the road again as soon as I can.
