• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sorry for the snowbirds!

I made this video for my co-workers and my new commute.

But I thought I would share it here to show why I live in California!

We have had a ton of rain (much needed so not unhappy about that) and this is the first day in weeks I could ride my Spyder to work.

Yes sorry... "I am a fair weather rider" :)

Anyway.... What a beautiful day to commute! Added some music which is appropriate :)

My Spyder is in the shop but we had a customer's bike at home and it needed a test ride, someone had to do it. It was warm enough in the garage that I seriously thought about turning the fan on. I sucked it up and worked without it.

that's just cruel and inhumane treatment of your fellow man! :):) I was stationed in SDiego back in 74 for about 7 1/2 months. don't remember a lot about it except the weather was great. figure it's a little more crowded these days.

A bit

More crowded about 1.3 million but the weather is still great and all those people are spread wide so it does not feel crowded till you hit a freeway at rush hour...:yikes: love the back roads...:ohyea:

heyyyy , was that the H-O-V lane ? who would care , that looked like a nice day for a ride ! HOPING we hit 50`s today get too do a ride

...... HOPING we hit 50`s today get too do a ride

I was sorta hoping that we WOULDN'T hit 50 today (degrees C that is!! Around 122F) so that I could go for a ryde.... but even if it didn't quite make it, it got too bloody close; & when I tried to pull outta the driveway onto the road the rear tire sprayed melted & sticky asphalt everywhere, so I gave up that idea pdq!

Maybe tomorrow, they are only predicting mid 30's in my neck of the woods, so that means it'll likely be less than 100 in your 'old school' Fahrenheit terms, I reckon I can live with that!

We need the rain also.

I agree Bob, lot to be said for living in places where it does not snow.

 You guys are mean...

But I just ordered the Missus a new snowblower for her birthday!
You do what you have to do... :dontknow:

Though it is nice that many of you can Ryde most of the year I prefer a different train of thought.

During the winter months, we in the north have ample opportunity to dismantle, clean, paint, farklize and accessorize our machines without losing a single ryding day.

Those in the "nice weather areas" must sacrifice ryding days while making said changes, or do so within a very short window of opportunity like a rainy day.
Voila, we win, we'll sort of anyway.:yikes:

Only 88* here in the "Old Pueblo" . Yep I rode the Spyder and then rode the BMW R1200R LC. Spent the rest of the day at the Apple store trying to get Camilles I-Phone restored. She plum forgot her Apple Password. She is very stubborn and refuses to write these things down. They said recovery will take another week or so.

I needed a steering sensor reset but being in the 70's I wanted a hike too. So near SpyderAnn01's there is Frenchman Mountain

Thanks for the inspirational ride. I am getting the "itch" for some big iron again. Currently considering a Kawi 1700 Vacquero. The look and feel of the HD Road King or the F3 T.--but about 5K to 15K less expensive. The Candy Apple Red is especially nice this season. Will let you know if the 2011 is going away. I will be keeping the 2014 1330 though. Linda still needs a ride.:yes:

I am jealous of you guys. I got to wait until April to ride. :banghead::banghead: Hurry Up Spring!
Nice video!

I got spyderist. But the days are getting longer :clap:Deanna
