• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

sorry bout someone

:clap:

I am sorry the way that paragragh sounded. it may have came off harsher than i ment it. i am a very straight shooter and do not mince words(no beating around the bush with me). my wife and mom get mad at me about this also(i get it from my dad).

what i ment was;
-we need to talk
-i am not the kind of person who would have posted the things the salesman did.
-as you get to know me you will find this out
-and to please remove/change that last post on that thread you had made before anyone else gets the wrong idea about me(which you did and thank you)
-and again we wanted to extend our apologies to BajaRon, You, This Forum, and Everyone on here for what that salesman did.

Thanks to everyone on here for what seems to be, giving me the opportunity to show that we do care, and want to be a part of the Spyder community. We went through great strides to become a Spyder dealer and want make the effort to be known as one of the best.

I will visit this forum on a regular basis. Hopefully i can provide some help/insight to what yall are looking for out of a dealers presence here.

First, I'm not covering or making excuses for BRP or dealers and how they have responded to various Spyder issues. From working with recreational product dealers over the years, I know that they usually carry a whole range of lines (Yamaha, Honda, BRP, Kawasaki, Polaris) and a whole range of product lines (road bikes, dirt bikes, scooters, ATV, snowmobiles, PWC, boats) all with different engines, components, recalls, service bulletins, etc. While we are devoted Spyder fans, their sales and tech people are faced with the daunting task every day of keeping up with a myriad of issues that customers bring to them across a whole range of products. As I have noted before, as a first model year owner of a Sea Doo PWC and a Sea Doo jet boat, very competent dealers and techs were at a loss for some of the issues simply because the products were so different than what they were used to. No amount of tech training and service bulletins can prepare a service department for what first year owners bring to them. Yes, they need to be courteous and work with the customer with respect, but the entire factory/dealer system needs to adjust. The best way to avoid the hassle is not to buy a first year model, but some of us can't resist.

Spyder riders are now in the thousands and growing everyday. It would be nice to have someone from a service department contribute to this forum in helping us all to resolve some mysterious glitch in our Spyder. If you could post any new "fixes" from BRP that would be priceless, and what about the oil "change", synthetic blend now recommended for the Spyder. Is it for real?

I missed what ever this was about too.
I hope Spring hurrys up and gets here, then more of us will be out riding and doing less typing.

I'm big into conspiracies...it was you all the way! :D Perhaps a split personality?

Bloope, I'm glad you are staying around and hope all the misunderstanding and confusion is now behind us and you. This forum is the best and a ton of good useful information is found here for us all. :read:
