• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

DIY? Install Bael Decor Firm orthopedic memory foam 3" thick seat cushion

Does anyone have a good suggestions as to what I may add to my std. seat that may help in not having what is known as "Monkey Butt" after riding a while?
I already have the backrest.
Is it the std. RTS seat even though it seems to be very comfortable.

Cut front left side seat base, install 2 hinges for gas flap (don't have to raise seat to fill gas tank).
Staple stock seat cover back on. Jim

Airhawk has several different models. Which one(s) would best fit the rider and the passenger seat on a 2014 RT-S? Thanks!!

My wife and I use the Airhawk in the medium cruiser size for both rider and passenger.

On my last bike I suffered from tail bone pain and I completely understand what you are going through. After 1 hour I could not stand the pain. Unlike Monkey Butt, Coccydynia can be excruciating and can point to medical problems either from a past injury or may others that only your doctor can help with. I had a custom foam pillow made up with a cutout where my tail bone made contact and of course that solved the problem. I used black anagahide and added Velcro straps to hold it on the seat.

Coccydynia is sensitive to almost any contact with the seat so even a cut out in the foam below the seat cover will likely not help, I tried this but as soon as I sat on the seat, my weight would stretch the fabric tight and still apply enough contact to cause pain.

On my 2014 I suffer no paint at all.. go figure, it is almost as if the problem has gone into remission. I now just use Gold Bond medicated powder, it has a numbing effect and lubricates to prevent chaffing. I can travel 4-6 hours between adding powder. It not just a talc, it actually has something in it that burns a bit at first but then settles in and provides great comfort on long rides.

+1 on the AirHawk R. My standard seat was good for about an hour of constant riding. Adding a sheepskin and a gelpad added another 30 minutes. My AirHawk R lets me ride until my low level light comes on and I need to refuel . . . It was an amazing difference.
