• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I got flashed a couple of times tonight on the way home, so I decided to adjust my headlights. I got all lined up, and took off the panels, being careful not to scratch them or step on them.
When I was happy with the adjustment, I had to turn the Spyder around to back it into the garage, so I reversed to the right and pulled forward to the left.
CRUNCH!
I had driven over one of the panels.:gaah:

This time I got off easy. No damage to the painted surface, no cracks in the panel. However, one of the pins was folded over, so I straightened it out and then used 15 minute epoxy to reinforce it.

Lesson learned.

WOW !

that was a lucky break or " lucky fold over " if it is a bigger piece of panel I myself would go ahead and order another one , just incase the glue descided too give up the hold ! { but the other thing , did you get your lights adjusted ? } when I read you got flashed , I was kind of hoping you got the " pull up the gals top type flash " :roflblack:

Loosing tools

My usual trick is to put tools on the passenger seat and passenger floorboard and then go for short ride around the block to check it out and shed the tools in the area.............

Whew..!! 😰

That was a close call. Glad the fix was easy. I learned to always put my panel up or far to the left or right....

GETTING FLASHED

" THE HIGH BEAM FLASH " sometimes you get this because the shutter doesn't LOCK when you have the LOW beam on and it bounces .... and people think you are FLASHING THEM :banghead::banghead::banghead: ...... Mike

Been there, done that, have the t-shirt. I still cant find my mag light (the foot long one) from when I installed the Seal Floorboards. I think it went out with the garbage in the shipping box. :roflblack::roflblack:

Forgetting ain't as bad as getting a knuckle busted and throwing your tool across the yard Then saying a few choice words. The worst part is having to feel stupid and walk over across the yard and get it back. Because you need it again. Then not remembering where it landed. Haven't done that in a long time. But anyway glade all is well and working. No major breaks.
