• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wow what happened? I'm sure it's not one of the spyder around.:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Will a mud guard help protect?

Hit some debris in the road, couldn't avoid it, not sure what it was. Didn't think anything was damaged though until I got home and looked at the rear. Not sure what the fix will be, looks like to replace it, it would require a entire rear section.

Interesting..!!

rubber mudflap will fix it..but what did it is the interesting part..hard to back into anything with the hitch there, could the trailer tounge have got caught up there in a big bump....:dontknow:

Rear Fender, P/N 708300020 (for 2012 at least), MSRP $154.99. If your comprehensive coverage deductible is low, you may wish to contact your insurance company.

That's possible, I was towing trailer at the time

Do you know if it's the same P/N for 2010 model? Is this simple enough to replace yourself or would you suggest letting dealer handle it?

I believe so, but you can check here. http://parts.spyder.brp.com/Index.a...sctr1ndm6&catalog_id=0&language_id=1&siteid=1

Dropping the fender is pretty simple if you have a set of torx bits (and know where to look for the screws), but removal and replacement of the license plate wiring adds a bit of complexity. Not knowing your particular skills or the contents of your toolbox, it would be hard to say if it was within your scope or not. Any dealer who could not do this in less than an hour is either out to rob you or is very incompetent, in my estimation. It never hurts to ask up front what they would charge you.
