• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

somethign we cannot do in a spyder..lol

I think that we need to hear from Doc on this one...
Crazyinsane!
186mph; that's like 300kmh, isn't it? :yikes:

Thats a lot faster than I want to go. But that's just me. Yup, Bob, that's 300 KPH plus.

Sorry guys, it may be cool but the guy needs some serious reeducation....gives the rest of us a bad name....put him on a racecourse...OK....public roads....NO

:agree::agree: His closing speeds on the innocent traffic around him were insane... :gaah: Did they say five year's worth of jail time?

Going that fast in a closed environment? Very cool. ;)

Doing 186 on a crowded public roadway? Not so much. :(

crazy but a good rider. There isn't a single vehicle he could have hit, even at that speed that would have injured anyone but himself. NOT saying that the fallout of him crashing could not have caused a issue and there are are a ton of unknowns in medium traffic like that.

 :hun: Seth, the forces of a an impact to a rear corner of any of those vehicles would most likely have caused a loss of control of that driver, and then gotten ugly from there! :yikes:

Think about it: a 600 pound (A guess) combo of bike and rider with a 120 mph impact...

The steering wheel is going to be ripped from the paws of the driver and that vehicle is going to cross lanes...

Well he certainly was driving WAY to fast for conditions . But looking at his bike I doubt he really was doing 186 I mean they are goverened to 186 if I recall due to the hayabusa when it first came out in 1998 or 1999 and it supposedly was able to hit 202 . But we also have to take into account that his bike probably didnt have a " speedo healer " on it which means if he was near 186 it was probably only 160's or 170s LOL and come on now do we really need to give him 5 years for only doing 160's-170's LOL HA HA  . Enough with that nonsense that guy is stupid and a reason sportbike guys get bad names , just like Harley guys sitting at the bar drinking all day . Ohh well stupid is a stupid does. Please by no means and I advocating his genius , hes a tool and needs to either SLOW down or put the kick stand down and step away from his bike before he :banghead:. By the color of the fairing it looks like a Yamaha or a GSXR i think LOL

it was a owners agreement that started in 2001, I have a 2000 zx12 with a overbore to a 1289 , full muzzy and a speed healer and I have hit a 195 mph true speed on that bike before I got hurt, my friends still drive it and no one has yet to get off it without swearing about how fast it is. I should sell it but I have a tough time finding people that want to accept the responsibility or have the cash.

Bikes are really a engine with so tires on it so they are dangerous and the faster you go the more dangerous they are but I mean what could happen right? my accident that put me in this car was under 50mph.

My 2008 Hayabusa has been electronically limited at the factory to 186 mph (300 kph) as per a "voluntary" agreement between the motorcycle makers. That limiter however can be defeated with a little $20 part. Still, the difference between 186 mph and 202 mph when you're in the seat is hard to tell--let's just say it's insanely fast! Of course, I wouldn't know--I just know what others have told me!

:yikes: How many riders do you know that can actually control a bike at those speeds??
A faster version of the aforementioned Lawn Darts! :gaah:

I'm curious to know the statue of limitations for traffic violations ???? I'm sure any good lawyer will beat the charges just with that. Also, the state can't prove when this occured only when he posted it online. So without a date and time, there is no crime and the charges most likely will be dropped.
