• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

somebody please remind me

was i the one that said i was not going to spend a ton of money on this bike, since i ordered it i have also ordered,,, the comfort seat,,, the tall 25" vented windshield,,, the Ron sway bar and hemi links (they said it took close to 3 hours to install them, but no charge ) the ISCI hand break system, can't wait for that to go on the bike because i hate the foot brake, the larger foot break cover,,, a shortie antenna,,, muth directional mirrors for the can am spyder,,, and the XM radio along with the entertainment cable.

now i think that is all so far, but s i get older i tend to forget

I've upgrades to the ultimate seat.....I do have the BajaRon sway bars..., but I added Elka shocks...and I've got the XM.....

SO WHAT KINDA A REMINDER DO YOU WANT?????:banghead:

Most of us have said and done exactly the same. I was going to keep my RTS stock.

So far:

:ani29:: Extended brake pedal
:ani29:: Utopia back rest
:ani29:: A frame lights
:ani29:: Custom Dynamics trunk bar light
:ani29:: A new yellow Nolan N44 helmet

And thinking about:
:ani29:: LED lights to replace all the reflectors on the front fenders

No matter what we say, it just goes on and on. We want to make that :spyder2: our own. :yes:

Same is true regardless of brand. :opps:

When I bought the Wing, I told my wife that I would leave it stock. Since then I have:
  • Installed Utopia Backrest
  • Upgraded speakers
  • Installed new exhaust tips
  • Installed HID lights
  • Bought some green LED accent strips
  • Bought a dark smoke shorty windshield
  • Replaced Kury grips with stock
  • Added 12v powerlets everywhere
  • Bought Kury mini floor boards
  • Bought a new trailer (I swore I wouldn't, but I did)
  • And have plans to completely black out the trike with paint and powder coat as soon as I am healthy enough.

So yes. It is a disease that isn't brand specific, and you are not alone John! :chat:

What I remember was how so many people said never buy the first year of a new model...

I have never been in that camp. Bought early 2008, First year, 2009 with SE5--a new item at the time, 2010, RTS premier edition, and 2014 RTS--new ACE 1330 version.

To date, with three "for sures," and one "looking good," I have not had any problems with the first year editions.

I am one who likes the latest and greatest for sure.

OEM antenna

Hey John, Do you want to sell the OEM antenna if you don't need it. I like the look of having two on the bike. I guess I would have to order a boot or find one.

What..!!

if you did all that it must not have been you...!! :roflblack::roflblack: but then if you don't the roadster would not be you..!! :2thumbs:

With talk of the larger brake pedal, I read the sales info about it. Seems it was designed for footpeg style machines. The right sie floorboard, by design will drop away under some breaking emergency braking situations, allowing an even longer throw of brake application. Lamont mentioned this had happened to him in Daytona I believe.

The brake pedal will trip a latch, the floorboard hinges lower, hopefully all is good. The floorboard is raised and reset.

Adding a wider pedal may not allow the pedal to pass the the floorboard providing extra travel. Just to be clear, I run a stock pedal and floorboard setup, so maybe others could verify or show I am in error.

As for the hand brake, is it able to retain the anti-skid design, or does it become rear wheel only anti-skid?
