• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Some people!

I here ya brother! If you have 20 yrs or more just like my hubby then you have definitely earned your SPYDER. Theres a reason why military folks get to retire at 20 cause they have already worked a 40 year career! If you were still free this morning when U woke up and can say whatever you want to then "THANK A SOLDIER OR SAILOR". Have a great day everyone!!!!
.............

Don't forget the airmen, too! Bruiser spent 20 years in the Air Force, and has now worked for his present company for 23 years. I think he's worked hard enough to be able to enjoy the Spyder and his Vulcan!! Personally, I think it's probably jealousy or envy, neither of which are good to have!!

No justification required

I own and enjoy Ms Spyder because I choose to.. my life my money my decisions.. plus another incredible and priceless experience:Spyderlovers !!! :ohyea::thumbup:

Only in my dreams am I rich and spoiled. I worked hard and saved so I could get my Spyder. I hate the fact that people that work hard and save money are considered spoiled, or a yuppie or stuck up. I don't give a crap how much you make or what you do for a living, we are all just people. I prioritized my Spyder over a new TV/Car/trip to the casino. I made personal choices so I could ride my Spyder for 4 hours over Mother's Day weekend and enjoy the alone time.

Yes Lamont was the first to post on that idiots post and I was the last and Im hoping he saw what I wrote. His claims were false as we all know but what he was bragging about made me laugh. First yes he is a Canadian(im sorry for that) and he was bragging about working the oilfields here in Alberta and BC then went on to say that people who owned Spyder were old...cripple...cant ride two wheels...and yes rich actually spoiled rich. He then went on to say he had this and that and a plane so I went to see what he had. I then stooped to his level and made fun of his (tiny) little Cessna and told him to go buy a real plane. I also said that because he works in the oilfield if he didn't snort so much cocaine he might be able to get a better plane. Im sorry but guys like this here where I live tick me off, I worked in the oilfields as well and yes you can make tons of money but it gives you no right to come onto a board when you are not educated enough to make those kind of statements. I hope he saw what I wrote and Can Am did delete his post it was pretty horrific. I also made a comment that he probably posted that statement from his (tiny) plane because he has no friends and that if is wife had seen what he posted she would be upset in forsure. Some day Karma will get him for his false statements lol

Last year, a friend of mine test rode a :spyder2: and took pictures of her on it. She tagged me on the pics so I can see her, but a "friend" of hers got into the comments saying that our :spyder2:'s are "learning bikes" and for her to ride in a "real bike (HD)". I pretty much let him know (nicely at first) that he was being an ignorant and that many people are appreciating our rides. He went on to say that people who ride these machines are chickens and more :cus::cus::cus: insults and that is were I got really  with the guy. I pretty much told him that if he's such a brave "man" he should say the exact same words to a handicap and/or veteran :spyder2: rider and see if he lives to tell the story with all his teeth and bones intact...
